Planning to showcase a custom banner at your next event or party? If your banner has grommets (those little metal-reinforced holes along the edges), hanging it up is simple—and looks professional with the right setup.
What You Need:
A banner with grommets
An adjustable backdrop stand
Zip ties (recommended), bungee cords, or S-hooks
All vinyl banners from PhotoDigiStudio come with metal grommets placed every 2–3 feet around the edge, allowing the banner to be evenly stretched and securely attached to a backdrop stand for a clean, professional look. Each banner is delivered rolled in a sturdy cardboard box to prevent creases or wrinkles during shipping, so it arrives event-ready.

How to Hang It
Assemble the Stand
Set up your backdrop stand to the correct height and width.
Line Up Your Banner
Hold the banner up and make sure the grommets line up with the top bar of the stand.
Secure with Zip Ties or Bungee Cords
Thread a zip tie or bungee cord through each grommet and around the stand. Tighten them so the banner is stretched and wrinkle-free.
Optional: Use S-Hooks
If your stand has a horizontal crossbar, S-hooks can hang easily through each grommet.
Tidy It Up
Make sure the bottom corners are secure to prevent curling or flapping. You can also attach the lower grommets if available.
Pro Tips:
Use black or clear zip ties for a cleaner look.
Use a telescopic or adjustable stand that fits the size of your banner.
To keep zip ties from slipping down the backdrop stand’s metal rod, wrap a small piece of duct tape, rubber band, or grip tape around the pole where the tie will rest. This creates friction and keeps the banner in place.
And that's it! Your banner is up and looking great for photos, parties, or events.
